We seek to hire a Customer Service Representative to perform varied and diverse duties requiring knowledge of customer service, office systems and procedures for its Charleroi, PA facility. 

The position is full-time, day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday with weekends off and pays $12.00/hr.

Job Description

  • Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, fax machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
  • Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages.
  • Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
  • Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
  • Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
  • Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
  • Open, sort, and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail.
  • Compute, record, and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports.
  • Collect, count, and disburse money, do basic bookkeeping, and complete banking transactions.
  • Complete and mail bills, contracts, policies, invoices, or checks.

Physical Activities

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for sustained periods of time.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery, such as copy machine and printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with customers, supervisors and peers by telephone, in written form, email, or in person.
  • Sedentary work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Involves sitting most of the time.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity: such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; and extensive reading.
  • The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
